the portrait

The art of a portrait in my mind is a selfish thing. When I take a portrait I am trying to capture the person I see. I don't know anything more satisfying than taking an image of someone I love so simply as I see them. I always find it suprising that it is rarely how the person sees themself. These are my beloved portraits.
